ASHE COUNTY HURRICANE RELIEF
RESOURCES
I’m fortunate enough to have a family that’s [almost] as big as Texas.
My ma is an only child and grew up with her and her first cousins being thick-as-thieves,
which resulted in the next generation being as close – if not closer.
I celebrate wins and losses with my cousins the same as I would with my brother.
SO! When my little cousin called to let me know that she was engaged last October – the world stopped for a moment and my heart exploded with pure, absolute joy because watching her grow in love and life with her boyfriend had been like watching magic.
Fast forward to a couple months before the wedding, add in a new camera and a psycho older cousin (me) who wanted to shoot, and you get a day on top of a mountain in freezing cold winds photographing a love that most could see as envious (only because it’s the kind that you dream about as a little girl).
Seriously – AREN’T THEY THE CUTEST!?
At the beginning of the session, they weren’t the most comfortable – but once they opened up (and started telling jokes) they seemed to forget the camera was even there and danced to the beat of their own drum.
I wish Kasey & McKenzi a life full of endless love and pray that they always find the magic in their relationship (.. and make more cute as shit babies – but that’s neither here nor there).
As always, Wander in Wonder, Gypsy –
