Darby | Appalachian State University Senior ’21

A long, long time ago I walked across the stage of Appalachian state (after three transferred schools and three rounds of academic probation – but that’s neither here nor there). But this post isn’t about me.

I first met Darby and her sweet family at my Christmas Minis this past Christmas and was absolutely thrilled to work with her again to celebrate her graduation from App State. We spent an afternoon fighting the cold and wind to walk around a beautiful park on campus and snapping photos along the way.

Bringing in fun elements to your session – like shooting on your home campus – is a GAME CHANGER.
Choosing a location that not only represents you, but represents the story you’re trying to tell is essential. If your a fellow Appalachian State grad – let’s go walk around campus, or go explore your building! You can tell your story without buying $100s of dollars worth of props (even though that’s fun too!). But more on props later. 😉

Cheers!
