Bearing the name of a bend in the historic New River, neighboring the leather maker’s grandfather’s home, Horseshoe Bend Leather Co. was started as a hobby and quickly turned into a passion. With an emphasis on combining durability and value, Horseshoe Bend Leather provides handmade craftsmanship rooted in quality and tradition.

when creating the visual identity of horseshoe bend, i wanted to bring in an ode to the actual bend in the river that inspired the brand. with a hand drawn icon, this was accomplished in both the primary logo and brandmarks. we used imagery of the west and an darker earth toned color palette to incorporate the hard work and grit of leather making into the branding.
