Created by a photographer, the CG Design lab is a one stop shop for all your branding needs - design, branding, And visuals. I know the importance of visuals and how they can truly set your brand apart. during this class i started to feel a fire and passion that i hadn't felt since starting my photography career full time in 2018. i've always had a love of good branding and really dope design and after some thought and a whole lot of praying, i made the decision to open up the design lab in 2021 and haven't looked back since. working with really cool people & brands stokes my fire and watching it all come to life is my fave thing!

The Carolina gypsy co. design lab came to fruition during the pandemic when we were all stuck in our Houses, pulling our hair out trying to find something fun to do (besides watch tiger king and log too many Hours on FaceTime with our friends). I took classes with one of my favorite designers - living for our Daily and Weekly live zooms because I had a space to dream with other creatives when it all felt a little hopeless.

01. // initial inquiry

Once you decide that you want to go on a journey with the Carolina Gypsy Co. Design Lab (yay!) this whole process starts with filling out an inquiry form, here.

02. // booking

After you’ve had a chance to look over the packages offered and find the perfect one for you, we’’ll move into the booking phase. I will send you your client portal with appropriate contracts, invoices and questionnaires to you for your review. 

YOUR PROJECT IS NOT CONFIRMED AS ‘BOOKED’ UNTIL I RECEIVE YOUR SIGNED CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT PAYMENT.

03. // brand discovery

When you receive your client portal, there will be a branding questionnaire that will be the holy grail of info during our time spent creating together. This will help both you and I really dive into the nitty gritty of your brand and start to form the feeling of your brand! 

This will be where we craft the feel of your brand, the story you want to tell and combine the two for your visual identity.

04. // in the lab

After a few rounds of picking this and that (don’t want to spill all my secrets just yet), I will go into the lab and work on the final draft of your branding, web design, both, whatever you are working with the CGCo. Design Lab for!

05. // revisions

If there are any revisions needed, I will get right on those once you’ve had a chance to review the final drafts of your designs!

06. // deliverables & post launch

When everything is squared away and final drafts are approved, you will receive a dropbox link with all of your deliverables and any extras that you may have hired us for. This file is not released until the final payment of your invoice has been received. Any post launch support that you receive (per your contract) will start once your final deliverables have been sent out!

I just need a logo - is that something you do?

in short - no, i don't offer a logo only design package. the reason for this is because i believe that, while important, your brand deserves so much more than just a logo. having a nice logo is great, but with no brand strategy behind it - it's useless.

i will gladly work with you on a website if you already have professionally, established branding, i am happy to create the showit website of your dreams. i will assess your current branding, make sure it is tuned in for your current needs and go from there. website only, custom showit sites start at $1,500.

03. //
your package price for carolina gypsy co. is a one time payment, but additionally you will be responsible for purchasing the following:


+ THE APPROPRIATE SHOWIT PLAN
+ APPROPRIATE DOMAIN (WEBSITE)
+ APPROPRIATE FONT LICENSES
+ PROFESSIONAL BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY

04. //
yes! any design package that you select has an option for a payment plan. a la carte design services will be assessed on a case by case basis for payment plans.
NOTE: final assets will not be released until payment plan is paid in full

I design EXCLUSIVELY on showit. I believe that showit is the most user FRIENDLY for both the designer and the client. it's the only drag and drop platform i've found that offers true creative freedom, and lets the client update as needed without a headache. my own website is hosted on showit and it's the best decision i've made!
